Even in the time of the Apostles, there are debates about religion. Probably, the situation is quite similar to today’s situation. There are debates recorded in the book of Acts 9:22 and 29 —
“But Saul increased the more in strength, and confounded the Jews which dwelt at Damascus, proving that this is very Christ.
And he spake boldly in the name of the Lord Jesus, and disputed against the Grecians: but they went about to slay him.”
There are even killings during debates that time! Proof is, they really killed Stephen by stoning him because they were not able to defeat him! This is stated in the books of Acts 7:59 —
“And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.”
Stephen was killed because he was defending the teachings of Christ against evil people and liars. We are not equally of God's. Not all religions and preachers are of God. There are religions established by the devil — their ministers are of the devil: deceivers; teaching a different Christ — criminals! This is the reason why there are debates; but if all will just acknowledge the God of the Bible, there would be unity and no debates! Others established a business in disguise of religion. They make God's words a merchandize as stated in 2 Corinthians 2:17 —
“For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.”
There are also like them in our time. They even ask for monetary contributions during a supper! That is why religions do not have unity. Remember what is written in 2 Corinthians 2:14 —
“For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.”
How can you attain unity in religion when there are religions whose only intention is to make merchandise? They don't give a damn about the salvation of their fellowmen. They even teach them to kill and be rude; lying even in national television. Unity in religion will not happen! Darkness will not affiliate with light, and vice-versa. God will not reconcile with the devil.

But they do ! Thousands of people of these religions get along very well allowing to live and let live. Its just spoilt by those who feel they have to make an issue of one being better than the other and so on. Religion should be a personal choice which should not be forced on others. Once these people grow spiritually they will realise this and then we will live in peace and mutual respect . Hope that doesn't sound too pompous!

You could be right about that, with a little difference. The true religious people, any religion, is a real man of peace, and with them all people can have an exchange of ideas and opinions in perfect freedom 'cause they address their efforts on the same direction. You're probably talking about all religious people that are religious for interest, for inheritance, politic, or believing in a religion how they'd be supporters of a sport team. In this case I'd add even atheist doing that way.

It's really very simple...
Moses (PBUH) was a prophet of God and his people were later called Jews. They are also referred to as "The Children of Israel".
Jesus (PBUH), who was a Jew, was sent to his people who later became known as Christians. He was also a Messenger of God and acknowledged all the prophets before him, including Moses.
Muhammad (PBUH) was sent 622 years after Jesus to renew God's message and acknowledge ALL the prophets before him, including Jesus and Moses (PBU them both). They were ALL prophets and messengers of God.
So as you can see, we can all get along and live peacefully, if like the Muslims, the Jews acknowledge the Christians and the Muslims, and the Christians acknowledge the Jews and the Muslims.
Only then, will we all get along...

The fault does not all lie with religion. People in general do not get along. Religion is just one way to pretend that the reason people want what others have is not their own greed, but god's will. In other words, religion is the excuse, not the cause.

Most of us do get along peacefully.
It is when individuals treat others in a hateful and uncharitable way (which, I believe, is against each of these religions) that there is trouble.
One of the worst things that people do is not to respect the freedom of religion of others.
In the Vatican II document, Declaration on Religious Freedom, Dignitatis Humanae (Human Dignity), the Church states:
The human person has a right to religious freedom. This freedom means that all men are to be immune from coercion on the part of individuals or of social groups and of any human power, in such wise that no one is to be forced to act in a manner contrary to his own beliefs, whether privately or publicly, whether alone or in association with others, within due limits.
http://www.vatican.va/archive/hist_councils/ii_vatican_council/documents/vat-ii_decl_19651207_dignitatis-humanae_en.html
It is also important to realize that most of the conflicts in the world that the media call "religious" are really political or cultural in nature not religious.
With love in Christ.

Look Jews are not bad but they love G-D to the point they want him to be their God only.
Christians are good people too but they love God to the point they created a son of God.
Muslims are good people too but they want to live Like Muslims 1400 years ago. All they need to realize that God is one and he love us all and he want to see all of them united for haven.

As long as their is sin in the world, and sin can never be abolished in the world, these groups can never

learn to live peacefully. Jesus himself said that he did not come to bring peace but a sword.

xtians and muslims try to convince others that their way is the only way. Which is called prostelyzing or witnessing. Jews don't really care what others do as long as they leave them alone to live a peaceful life

Islam is `the religion of peace' because:
the Arabic word Islam is derived from the Arabic word "Al-Salaam" which means peace.
It might seem strange to think of this as a misconception, but in fact it is. The root word of Islam is "al-silm" which means "submission" or "surrender." It is understood to mean "submission to Allah." In spite of whatever noble intention has caused many a Muslim to claim that Islam is derived primarily from peace, this is not true. Allah says in the Qur'an (translated):
[2:136] Say (O Muslims): We believe in Allah and that which is revealed to us and that which was revealed to Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the tribes, and that which Moses and Jesus received, and that which the prophets received from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we have surrendered. [Arabic "Muslimoon"]
A secondary root of Islam may be "Al-Salaam" (peace), however the text of the Qur'an makes it clear that Allah has clearly intended the focus of this way of life to be submission to Him. This entails submission to Him at all times, in times of peace, war, ease, or difficulty.
