There are many - There is St. Joan of Arc (she led the French forces against the English and won)
St. Theresa of Avila - a well-known Christian mistic
St. Brigit - partroness of Ireland, well-known for her hospitality and standing up to authority
St. Bernadette - a young woman to whom Mary appeared to and showed her the healing waters of Lourdes
St. Clare - sister of St. Francis of Assisi who founded the Poor Clares, the female version of the Francisians.
St. Helen - mother of Constantine who, it is said, convinced her son to make Christianity the state religion.
There are many others...go check out a saints' name book at a local Catholic book store, or go online...I am sure there are catholic websites that give the history of saints.

You are referring to Madame Jeanne Guyon. She was a Catholic, though not regarded among the Catholics; but her writings are highly regarded by many Protestants. You can find her books online.
