OK something that is right up my alley....My mother is Hungarian...we are prone to the belly...got mine around 40 and the little sucker stayed with me UNTIL....I got some fantastic advice from my doctor...I HAD TRIED EVERYTHING......This actually worked and I lost 23lbs on top of the joy of loosing the tummy...
SERIOUSLY...That darn Danon Immunity in the tiny bottles in the yogurt section, get the strawberry/vanilla is yuck....tastes great and I nail one of those after my major meal of the day (for me that is lunch)...it has the stuff that your body does not make anymore to fight belly fat...I can't believe they do not advertise it for that...worked for me, my daughter, my stepmother AND my son....try it...it is amazing....And Sunshine is right...layoff the icecream everyday....BUT I DO STILL EAT THE THINGS I WANT, just had fried chicken for lunch...and still lost the weight..other rule of thumb...anything you want before 2:00 in the afternoon...then after that eat a little more sensibly....you know Peanut Butter Sandwiches are great little pick me ups...I tell ya it worked...I get tons of compliments.....take care and GOOOOOOD LUCK. P.S. you are right about the sit ups other than my tummy I did not have any body fat and sit ups only made it worse.

There is no specific excercise to burn bellyfat...you have to lose fat all over and reduce your BMI.
I know this is old and has been "debunked", but it works for me. I eat 40 grams of fat a day...doesn't matter what I eat, I just count the fat grams. It's easy to keep track of and does not involve a lot of math calculations.
If you're a guy, you can eat 60 grams of fat a day and lose weight.
At one fat camp, the children are kept to 20 grams of fat a
day, NO sugar, and NO high fructose corn syrup...you also want to stay away from ALL hydrogenated fats, even partially hydrogenated fats.

you cant spot reduce fat you have to lose it all over your body....do more cardio, eat better..(go to a gym like 24 hour fitness for a personalized meal plan) that will really help. and growing muscle(all over not just on your abs area) will help you burn more calories therefore burning more fat...any more questions.??

daily exercise such as walking, swimming or cycling will help.
Also, check the intake of food.
Make sure you limit the fat intake, and increase fiber intake.

Strict diet, mild exercise, try to do this with another person. Be good to your self....a movie, a good book, help someone....that really needs your help....VA Hospital maybe.

FIRST of all.....all those icecream cones that you've been eating on your neighbor's front porch will HAVE to go. I suggest you converse....you know....about the Beatles and Marshal Dillon♥....stuff like that....... rather than sup.
As for exercises....I'll bet your sweet wife knows a few that can burn off the calories!!
