We have some great specialities, unfortunately they have often been cooked badly but that is changing thanks to a lot of good cookery programmes.
Why don't you try some of these:
Lancashire Hot Pot.A kind of stew with sliced potatoes.
Beef Wellington made with steak with mushrooms round it and sealed in filo pastry.
Kedgeree. A dish with rice, smoked fish onions and curry spices.
Haggis with Neeps and Tatties.A Scottish dish made from oatmeal and varoiuos types of offal served with sweede and potatoes.
Fish and Chips from a good fish and chip shop.
Steak and Kidney pie.
Boiled ham with pease pudding.
Jugged Hare.A caseroled hare with port and spices, one of my favourites.
Beef stew with dumplings.A caserole of beef and winter vegetables with suet balls on top.

Well your English is better than my Italian, but keep practising!
Most of us now prefer a curry, a Chinese takeaway or Italian food. This is due to the fact that our own cuisine doesn't actually taste of anything...

i have been in uk for a lot of time but i m italian
english people love cakes for example muffins that are like a plum cake made with chocolate or apple pie made with apples
they also like eggs with bacon (this is the most important food that they eat in the morning)
mushrooms and roast beef
they dont use oil like italians do but they use butter or oilseed
you can eat pizza but is different from italian pizza (they dress it with onion peppers )
