Definitely not, I think you have mental disorder if you do believe in God. If you believe in the bible and the Jesus story even more yes, cause then you believe that magic is real, not just illusion. People that don't believe live in reality, where if something goes wrong you fix it, you don't pray and sit around waiting for some higher power to point his mighty finger and give it you. You believe you have to work for what you need or want, not just be lazy and wait for it cause you prayed, and in the mean time judge everyone around you. While I'm out working for stuff and not judging those who are also working for stuff, these fools (yes I know they have jobs too) but they think that by praying and accepting Jesus everything will be OK no matter what.

Mental disorders hit atheists and Christians, rich and poor, catholics and protestants, gays and straights, uneducated and educated, about every level of society and walk of life.
Actually, belief in God can be a help to those suffering from mental disorders. If you're an atheist with a mental disorder, you may have to rely more heavily on the meds.

Of course not.
Mental Disorders are diagnosed using the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM). Mental Disorders are Medical/Psychological in nature. Believing in God is a matter of faith. We are triune beings made of of body, mind and spirit. The DSM deals with the body and the mind, not the spirit.

No it is not a mental disorder. However it sounds like you feel guilty about not believing. So if it bothers you speak to someone that you respect on the pros, and cons. Then you will be able to make a choice that you feel good about.

A spiritual disorder would affect someone's mental perception. In proverbs it tells us that the ways of a man seem right in his own eyes. But God's ways are the truth.

Nope because I don't believe in god and I don't have any mental disorders.
I know lots of people who do believe in god and do have confirmed mental disorders (this does not make me believe that everyone who believes in god has a mental disorder).

No, nor would any actual Christian. Of course, that doesn't mean there aren't people who have mental disorders who don't believe, but the disorder itself has nothing to do with their disbelief.
Not believing in God is not a mental disorder.
Though, I do think it is much better to believe than not!

Which God? Thor, Aphrodite, Quala, Sannuto, Zeus, Chronus, Venus, Nuit, Isis, Ra, Baal, and about 2000 more for which I have names and writings. In fact only the Christian god is without a Name. It's rather pitiful to have to use a tetragrammaton as a name to preserve anonymity......I bet it's just Loki messing around.
