it is really hard to say....it depends on where you live, and what you mean by small...small compared to what, most bird's eggs are small. Are they in a nest or did you find them on the ground? What does the nest look like if you have seen it, how large, what is it made of, etc. Someone said maybe it might be a Robins' egg, but their eggs are very bright blue, not really green. Without any other info, I might guess a Chipping Sparrow. They have "small" greenish eggs. Do they have speckling or are they solid in color? A Robin would be solid blue with no markings.

Many birds have green or "Blueish Green" egg.
Robin is the first bird that comes to mind. I called them blue some other people call them green.
