Drug Tests, What are they lookin for?

Question

I know they look for the NIDA 5 drugs, opiates, marijuana, cocaine, PCP, and and ampheatamines.

Would drugs such as Xanax (barbituates), Mushrooms, or Vicodin show up. I heard vicodin doesnt show up as an opiate

I am on probation for marijuana and cocaine, i read on erowid if ur caught with somethin besdies the 5, they add stuff to test for

It depends on the type of test. If it's just a standard drug test, it checks only for the NIDA 5. However, MOST drug testing companies have expanded tests that will allow for testing of a variety of additional substances, including all the ones you just listed.

Well Xanax is a benzodiazepine (in the same class as Valium) I'm pretty sure vicodin will show up as an opiate. I'm not sure if they test for benzos, but it you are doing any of these drugs you need to stop if you're trying to pass a drug test!
They also test for alcohol (just FYI)

if it is for your probation officer or a job all you have to do is show them the scripts and they will know what to rule out if they show up. good luck on staying clean and try to stay away from the shrooms
