Many non-believers consider our Christian thinking and even "the mind of Christ" as being narrow minded because it doesn't include all of the things they enjoy and celebrate.
The "moral relativism" thinking where anything goes seems like a freedom that gives them life but sadly it only produces death in the end. But most don't want to/can't see that. If they did it'd require a MAJOR change on the road they travel and for some that would be both scary and difficult. Sometimes living in denial is easier than repenting.

People don't understand us Christians because we are not of this world, as the old hymn says "this world is not my home". We choose to not watch secular movies, or listen to secular music, then we must be weird, right? I believe that I'm more free than I was before I was saved. I thank God that I never dabbled in sins of the flesh and that I was spared from the terrors that shackle people who struggle to break free--drugs, alcohol, porn, etc. So, yes I think being narrow minded is good for us, we know what the Bible says and we live for Christ.

the one that leads to salvation is learning to love and be non-judgmental and without pride...
this is the rare person,,,,
narrow minded is just a description of someone who is contributing to the evil in the world and pretends they are good people....... an ex, might be a good little christian buys a diamond for their wife, this diamond has blood all over it... from wars and mine owners cutting off childrens hands to teach the workers not to steal them... we are all interconnected..... not seeing this is narrow minded
but to see it it is the rare path of truth,,,

The illustration was that few are the ones being saved.
So yes to be narrow minded as to doing good probably is a good idea.
Many people want you to believe that being bad is a good thing.

If it is narrow minded to do good, to try to be a better person, and to humble oneself, then I guess I am guilty. Fortunately that is that I am also a better husband, father, neighbour, and friend than I was before. Funny, huh?

To Choose one road out of 100, you must be broadminded enough to consider each road then narrow down your choice to one.

The road is also "straight" for all those homesexuality advocates out there.
Good job with word play, but it is meaningless. That is how jokes are formed.

Narrow means recognizing and living my Gods standards instead of what fits us and our life style.

no, you are taking an analogy and creating an absolute truth out of it.
If something big is sturdy and something small is flimsy, isn't it a good thing to be fat?
