My Dad works on weekends and my mom does to. The thing is my dad gets home somedays at about noon or eirler. He just gets on the couch and sleeps. I have brothers but there never home and im really bored. Should i wake my dad up or just let him sleep and deal with it??? I would like to spend time with him but i dont think that is ever going to happen!

talk to him when he's awake and tell him how u feel when he goes to sleep and u are bored and that u would like to spend time with him on weekends. let him know how u feel, i'm sure he'll understand. =)

Wake him up. He may not know you want to do something with him. He does not feel like it he will tell you. Ask him then when you two could do something that you are wanting to spend time with him. Do not tell him you are bored. This just seems to open the door for the comment of "all you have in you room and you can not find anything to do." You might plan something, make a invitation and leave it on the table by the couch. He finds it and be ready to do what you invite him to do. I think you will find maybe he is bored also....good luck

I think you should at least try talking to your father about this. You want to spend time with him and you are allowed to have a concern about it. I personally do not agree with him coming home and sleeping all the time like that. He has children, that is inappropriate. It is different though if he works all night and comes home that time of day. Then he could spend time with you in the evenings.

wake him up an see if he wants to do somthing. like play ball, go 4 a walk, work in the gerage. y aint getting any younger an time with your parents will only last for a short time. soon u will be grown up an on with your own life. then thier wont be time for wht u may have missed. some day they will be gone an thier wont be any more fun time with your parents.
