We as Christians DO NOT KNOW everything. Some of us tend to shove religion and spirituality down other's throats. We can be self-righteous at times. Sorry!!

I think the answer to this question is found in the fact that Christians view the world from a perspective that believes in God and believes that God knows the secrets of your heart. If you are not a Christian then this is not the persective with which you approach life and understanding of Jesus. It does mean that Christians can sound quite arrogant when really they are just seeing the world through a Christ coloured lens. Also sometimes Christians believe that God shows some people certain secrets specifically to use in such a way as will help that person, this is called prophecy.

i believe that most people have a higher power that they believe in , there are so many religions who knows who is the right one ,i believe that the temple is with in us if any one points a finger at you remember they have three pointed back at them, no one is perfect we all make mistakes in life some of us more some of us less, that doesn't matter the main thing when we need help we pray to a higher power of are own not one religion has first pick ,and if you don't want to believe ,that's why we all left Europe because of persecution, when we die there may be someone there at that gate ,we can ask for forgiveness ,i don't want to be a hypocrite ,everyone who has died did not come back its a guess ,for myself i believe there is some thing or i would not be able to go on,

Because every new generation of Christian gets handed a pamphlet from their parents entitled "What Intelligent People Think," so they're set for life.

That's called "assumptions." If you don't believe in god, then you MUST believe in a devil. No way out of it or around it. It usually applied to brainwashed people who like talking down to people.
That's about ridiculous to tell everyone... Believe or burn. What kind of peaceful doctrine is that?

SOME Christians do fancy themselves mind-readers -- they claim to know I "worship idols" because I am a Catholic Christian. It's BS.

I don't think I understand your question, but I don't hide my faith from anyone. Everyone knows I'm a Christian. Only God can read our minds and hearts and knows what lurks there.
