In a factory that uses a plastic molding injection machine. The plastic pellets are melted at a high heat and forced through a tube into a preformed mold that is made to the customers specifications. The machine does all the work. There are quality control people who watch to make sure that no cup is packaged that is damaged or doesn't meet standards.

Blow-molding. The same way as those plastic park benches you see. My ex-bil did that for a while. You just inject hot plastic into the mold and it goes on down the line to cool.

They probably take those little plastic beads and melt them. Then they mix in color and make the cups out of molds. Then they let them cool.
