I wouldn't ruin his holiday, but I would be there when he gets home, tell him something bad happened, but no one is hurt. Then explain what did happen, apologize, and tell him how you plan to pay for the replacement, even if you have to do it over time.

And this probably shouldn't be in Jokes and Riddles ....

Yes you should. Hiding the truth can just cause bigger problems. It's better you tell him, then letting him find out, and get more angry because you didnt tell him. He shouldnt be mad, because you didn't do it on purpose. Then ask him if you can do anything to help him repay for a new one. I know it's hard, but it's better you do the right thing. Good Question

TELL HIM!!!
maybe telling him in a letter would be better then over the phone because then he can't interupt and he will be able to know the whole story before he talks to you about it. Offer to help pay for it and let him know it was an accident.

Wow, you broke a 42" plasma, yea, i agree. 'Fess up, you can't hide that, unless you have lots of spare cash just cluttering up your bank account, but try not to ruin his holiday.

Tell him. It's better to tell the truth then a lie. Don't try to cover it up either (although I don't know how you could do that) because he'll still find out.

I think you should cook him a nice dinner and buy him something he has always wanted and then sit him down and tell him or write it in the card you give him with his gift. from shuntawsngtn123@yahoo.com

Oops. Unless you can replace it with an identical one, you'll have to own up.

Good Luck.
