The best evidence is when Jesus was dying on the cross. He said, "When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple whom he kept loving standing there, he said to his mother, "Woman, here is your son." Then he said to the disciple, "Here is your mother." And from that hour the disciple took her into his own home." (John 19:26-27)
Jesus was only concerned that His mother would be taken care of in her old age. If Jesus had had a wife, He would have insured that she would be taken care of as well.
Specifically, Jesus' brother (probably James) would have been instructed to perform the duty of the brother-in-law (known as the Levirate marriage) to take his brother's wife, and impregnate her, so she would also have someone to take care of her in her old age. (See Deuteronomy 25:5ff)
Since Jesus didn't mention a wife, then He likely didn't have one.

Who told you that He isn't married. He specifically said that His believers are His bride and that He is their husband. It would have been adultery for Jesus to have married an individual mortal during His short stay on earth. Plus, jesus was not in need of the any of the reasons why people marry. All those who believe in Him are His children, and therefore He did not need to procreate as a human. Jesus did not need an individual spouse because all the people who were around Him and believed on Him were His spouse, as are all those before and after He came.

Kindly prove that He was....using His word, the Bible, not the book/movie " The DaVinci Code" or this new so-called "evidence" of Jesus' tomb being found.

If Jesus was married how can we (Christians) be the Bride of Christ if he's already got a bride?
He spent 3 years with his disciples training them to follow him and how to be leaders. He didn't have time for a wife. And did you ever hear any rumors of a wife saying why are you sending all that time with those men....spend some time with ME. And with 12 constantly with him....one of them would have said something.....they couldn't have kept it secret.
Jesus never lied and didn't mention a wife and on the cross He gave his mother into John's care...if there was a wife, who would have taken care of her?

I don't think it would be an impossible task, but it would take too long for me to do it. I just went on line and checked out the marriage licenses given out in all the counties He lived in until the Crucifixion. Many given out to guys named Jesus, but none with the last name of Christ.
I thought I was done, but then it dawned on me... He's still alive NOW!!! I still have over 1,965 years of records to look through! AND He's been getting around alot too - I gotta check every county in every country that has heard the gospel. Sorry dude, my boss would kill me if I stayed on his computer for that long.

I agree with most people that have answered your question. However, to the rest of them, who cares if He was or wasn't? Either way, He was the Son of God. Why would it be so terrible if He was married?

Does it matter if he was married or not? If he was it didn't seem important enough to be put in the bible. Even if it was in the bible and someone stole the pages/books or whatever, doesn't Heavenly Father have enough power to make sure that would not have happened, and if it did, then maybe it happened on purpose. If Jesus was or wasn't married still does not change anything for me!

Nowhere in the Bible says He was married. If he had been married, the Bible would have stated it. Also, when He was dying on the cross, he told his disciple to take care of his mom, if he had a wife, don't you think He would have had her taken care of too?

I don't have to prove anything. All I need is God's Word. His Word is Truth.

Jesus is married to his CHURCH.
See Matthew 9:15, Mark 2:19, Luke 5:34.
Otherwise he would be a bigamist.
