I hate tanning beds because they make your skin stink and it just doesn't look like a real suntan but if I went maybe 2 or 3 times a week, would that help? Should I use sunless tanner? I think that looks fake too though. I've been using a good lotion to maintain your tan but it is going away. I live in Michigan, if it gets into the 60's, do you think laying out would give me a bit more color or is the UV just too low right now in my region?

I live in florida, and I love to prolong my tan. After coming back from the beach or laying out I put on 'Jergens natural glow daily mosturizer'
It comes in different tints to match your skin type. It adds just a hint of tan to your skin. I use it all the time =]

laying out would help the most. but dont go to a tanning bed that is really bad for your skin. and if you do lay out make sure you use sunscreen or that is also not safe. l'oreal makes a sunless tanner that is pretty natural looking, I would try using that.

The only way to maintain a dark tan is to continully expose your skin to UV light which causes your skin to produce melatonin which is what darkens your skin.

moisturize...alot! and dont use hard body scrubs. this should allow you to keep your tan longer.
