I may be gullible but this seemed unlikely to me. Of course my hubby and his brother are trying to tell me I can. Since I'm pregnant, this would be a bad thing.

"Unlikely" means that you are not gullible, you just need to start following your gut feeling. It sounds to me like you give others way too much credit and not enough to yourself.

Next time just say one thing: "Prove it, and, no I don't 'believe your brother'!"

And, no, you can't get drunk off of breathing alcohol of any type in any form. It must be digested.

My husband who cooks these as often as possible, says he wishes that you could get tipsy from cooking them, but that you can't as the alcohol is vaporized.

Your husband and brother-in-law are messing w you because you are pregnant. Mine did the same thing. Make sure you put them both on perminent diaper duty when the baby is born :)

no there is only a little beer in them anyway, all the stuff that will get you "tipsy" cooks out. so it wont even hurt you to eat one, it is just there for flavor.

No, I wouldn't think so. The heat cooks all the alcohol out.

they are pulling your leg.....
besides they shouldn't be cooked in the beer, they should be slowly cooked on a grill or griddle and then placed in a bath of beer and fried onion after.....The alcohol steams off, you are safe.
