I’m curious, if I told you I could give you the most perfect high known to mankind. Would you ask me the cost?

During my lifetime I've tried about every drug except herion, and NOTHING compares to the spiritual high that God can give !

there's an explanation I read once...explaining the experiential mechanics of drug use...(in a spiritual context)
basically, God is the sun...always there...and all that the drugs do is temporarily dissolve the clouds so that the light can shine through.
Spiritual growth though, means ascending toward, through, and beyond the clouds.
Sounded quite appropriate(in the case of most drugs which people associate with spiritual highs anyway)...they don't bring you any closer to God...but they do give you a glimpse of what's in store if you commit to the growth that's necessary.
...of course drugs also present some obstacles too, so I'm certainly not advocating their use...
God is definitely the highest high that I'm aware of though.

What is a "high" if not JOY. I pray that all may come to know the joy of the Lord because it is a permanent high-you never come down.
