The first one says, "It fits you very well."
The second one says,"It suits you."

I don't think that "it fits you well" is what it idiomatically means. "Le queda muy bien" if you refer to clothing for example, is "It looks great on you!". "Le favorece would be "It suits you", although a literal translation is impossible.

Le favorece is not something you can translate into English.
It could be something like: It suits/becomes you.

you can say
"It fits you very well" or "it looks very well on you"
Le favorece is more difficult, is rarely used ( i am Argentinean). You can also say "It looks very good on you"
It flatters you is ok too, or, "it suits you very well"

If you are talking about a 3rd person, it translates to: It fits her/him nice!
If the phrase is being directed to you, it is being said in a polite way.
"Le" is the same as "Te"
when using "Le is the polite of "Te" as "usted" is of "tu"

It favors + (pronoun)
In both cases the pronoun may be a first or third person.
