when all you friends hate the guy you like just because he has ONE flaw... and you're best friend says there're probably more reasons than just that one... but wont tell any. the person you know is kind and caring.... what should you do?

You really like him, but obviously the "flaw" is something most people wouldn't appreciate. Would your parents like him?
Unless it's something cosmetic like a missing tooth, you should take a step back and see why your friends don't think he's an OK catch. I think all druggies aren't keepers.

I would definitely sit down with all your friends - individually if I had to - to find out why they dislike your guy so much because of the one flaw.
It also depends on what his flaw is - if it's pretty bad, try and look at it from your friends point of view because I think good friends most of the time over-rank new boyfriends (or new 'crushes'). Your friends you might have had for years are there to help you, not destroy you. If you think they're just overreacting because of what could be just something silly to be upset about, then just trust your heart. But if it's a flaw that'll risk losing your good/best friends over, then follow your heart and maybe listen to your friends - they might be trying to protect you of something that might harm you.

If ALL of your friends hate the guy you like then there may be more than just one reason. They may know something that you don't know and just don't wanna hurt your feelings. Also, it really depends on what that one flaw is. If it is something that doesn't really bother you then i don't think it should really matter. Also, if you genuinely think that he is a good guy then you just need to talk to your friends and find out why they really don't like him... you may just find out that they are a bit jealous. If he is what you are looking for, then go for it and it shouldn't matter what they think of him.

If his flaw is smoking an illegal substance, i think you should really think about being with this guy.. don't lower your standards hun..He can get into a lot of trouble and will most likely drag you along with it!!

dont listen o your friends. If you like the guy, then its up to you what you do with him. Its wrong to base how you live your life according to how others think you should. Just do what your heart tells you is right.

Maybe you can't think objectively because you like him and you're blind to see his faults. But your friends can see from another angle, and sorry to say but their angle can be true and objective..
But, but..if you believe you know the guy better than your friends, then you'd better trust your instincts..
