I can't comment on the God part, but forgiving isn't forgetting.

Sometimes people should still be punished, even when forgiving. Forgiveness is really a relief to the forgiver, not holding a grudge, it doesn't excuse the forgivee (is that a word?)

God is forgiving if you ask for forgiveness and then resolve not sin again. Although Hell is one place I do not not believe, there is a curse on those who do not acknowledge God's command. His curse is not a wrath like what we normally see or hear from religious teachings but just the absence of His blessings to those who have been wicked.
Before you ask if He is hypocrite, better read the Bible well and understand His works because it seems that you never gave a serious time to read and if you did, you never had the grace to understand.

No, HE is not a hypocrite, you have to believe in HIM, and HE gives you the opportunity to accept HIM as your LORD and Savior, and if you don't than you go to hell, you have to admit sin to GOD for him to forgive you, and if you don't how can HE forgive you? No sin is too big for GOD to forgive.

If this is an honest question, I will give you an honest answer. the Bible says that there are two hells. The first is the grave, where everyone goes. The second is the Lake of Fire, where those who denied God are sent after judgment.

But you have to know that the Bible says that God did not make hell FOR US. He made it for Lucifer and the angels who chose to follow him. But all the people who chose to follow Lucifer have made Lucifer their god and will follow him to his place of punishment. If God was a hypocrite He would never have given us a way to escape hell. It was God Himself who said that it was not His will that ANYONE should perish in hell. But let me ask you this. If you deny and defy and ignore the One who created you and loved you so much that He would die for you, why in the world would He want to spend eternity with someone like you? Would you want someone who hated you and disrespected you to live in your house with you? If you defy and ignore God, you are telling Him that you don't love Him and don't want anything to do with Him, and He will respect your choice to go to hell with Lucifer.

BUT, remember that salvation is not based on what you do or do not do. It is based on what you believe. If you believe in Jesus, you have salvation. And if you believe in Jesus you know who He is and it will be your desire and will to serve Him. God doesn't send those who believe in Him to hell just because they make mistakes. He sends those who do not believe in Him and willfully defy and deny Him.

God is NOT all forgiving...If he was then judgment day would be a joke. What happens when you disobey ? You get some sort of punishment. The punishment for sin is eternal damnation , unless you ask for forgiveness and accept Jesus as your savior, you will have to be punished.

God does forgive- however it cost the life of His Son by shedding of His blood on the cross. It is free to us- but cost Him a lot to keep us out of hell. We deserve hell and eternal separation from God but because He loves us- He sent His Son to die and if and only if we accept that gift will we be in heaven.
"The wages of sin is death, BUT the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord".

God forgives to the point of shedding his blood. Hell would be your choice.

I think it exists as a temporary place for us to pay for our sins until we are forgiven. The bible says anyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved and I think that includes people in hell.
