Would you still believe?

Let's say God said only those who murder a human being (one that's been born already) without repentence go to Hell. Everyone else, the gays, the skeptics, those who've had an abortion or two, and yes, even those who (gasp) understand the Theory of Evolution, goes to Heaven.

Would you still want to be a Christian?

I know some people have trouble with hypothetical questions, just bear with me.

That would change everything man. I trust God implicitly and choose to follow HIm, so I guess my answer is yes. Right and wrong are taught us from the start, so we would find nothing wrong wtih those things since they are okay from the start.

No, because the logic that lead me away, after studying the Bible and all the various Christian interpretations thereof, is still in place... and I believe that Jesus never said ANYTHING against homosexuality, after LOTS of searching along with various interpretations that made remote sense.

So while I respect your beliefs, I just don't. BTW I think Jesus was an amazing altruistic teacher too, I just don't see him in an omnipotent-type being.

Skippy,

The Bible says homosexuality is an abomination, and abortion is murder. Your question is pointless as its all hypothetical. Sorry.

I wouldn't want to be christian anyways because of the ideals placed into it. Regardless of whether it accepted gay people or not, I still wouldn't convert.

We all have free will. You can be whatever you want

BUT

don't expect to enter heaven if you are not right.

What u dont understand is that God has and never will say that all those things are alright and that they will go to heaven no matter what.
