** What's the difference between Faith and Ignorance? **
Faith is willful ignorance. In matters of Faith dogma rules. Simple ignorance is usually just a lack of knowledge. In matters of simple ignorance education suffices as a
remedy.
Have a pleasant day.

--IGNORANT FAITH--is not the faith of the Bible!
--YOU ARE TALKING about the churches idea of faith which is CREDULOUS or BLIND FAITH!
---THEY USE this perverted idea of faith BECAUSE, they want people to believe the illogical , unreasonable teachings---- of trinity, hellfire, purgatory, immortal soul etc.
---YOU indeed have to be blind(non-thinking) to accept teachings that dishonor God & his Son Christ!
--THE BIBLES FAITH, is very similar to that of true sciences faith!
--NOT the fraudulent sciences "faith" of evolution which is just as bad a the ignorant faith of false religious teachings!
--HERE DEFINED along with word derivation:
(Hebrews 11:1-2) “11 Faith is the *assured expectation of things hoped for, the **evident demonstration of ***realities though not beheld. 2Â For by means of this the men of old times had witness borne to them.”
*Assured expectation.” Lit., “a sub-standing.” Gr., hy·po′sta·sis; Lat., sub·stan′ti·a.
**“Evident demonstration.” Or, “convincing evidence.” Gr., e′leg·khos; Lat., ar·gu·men′tum. Compare Joh 16:8 ftn.
***Lit., “of things.” Gr., prag·ma′ton
--OF INTEREST is that the exercise of true faith whether it be Science or the Bible can pass the 4 steps in the "scientific method."
--Thus when one correlates the understanding of gravity although invisible it gives us greater faith in the electro-magnetic forces, impetus forces, enertia's forces etc.--Although all invisible--since all we see are the results of these forces.

When performed in passionate and ignorant faith, activities such as sacrifice, penance and austerity are enacted selfishly for material benefits such as wealth, power and honor. Such acts of faith, performed in violation of the scriptures, yield only impermanent, material results and are therefore useless. On the other hand, acts of faith performed in the mode of goodness are executed according to duty and scriptural regulations, without selfish, fruitive intentions. Such acts are performed for the satisfaction of the Supreme, and thus they purify and elevate the performer and gradually lead him to the platform of pure faith and devotion to God.

Faith is believing in the Bible and doing what it says to do- like following the Commandments of God-
Ignorance is believing in what a person tell you the Bible says to do and doing it without reading for yourself- Don't be ignorant of the truth- read your Bible.

Well i feel you misunderstand faith. Religion often makes people ignorant, not faith. People with faith have open minds, but people who soly rely on their religion to guide them through life dispute every scientific achievement ever made, and preach their low intelligence while screaming the name of god and jesus, not as worship, but to loudly express their ingnorance.

We have all recieved a gift of faith, a seed sown in our hearts by God. However weak our exericing of that faith in our drawing near to God, God will draw nearer to us. When our faith is complete, we will make that commitment in faith.
While it is a step of faith, it is not blind faith because we know in our hearts that it is the right thing to do. This is our first experience of the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Ignorance does not figure in the equation.
