If so, what do you think about it?? God gave Solomon wisdom and knowledge, but the Bible doesn't say what was included in that. Could this book possibly be some of that knowledge?

The Key of Solomon is a grimoire or book on magic attributed to King Solomon (as several others were). The known copies originated in the Middle Ages and later. The book contains several paragraphs and terms inspired by Talmudic texts and the Jewish Kabbalah teaching.

It is possible that the Key of Solomon inspired later works such as the Lemegeton, also called The Lesser Key of Solomon, although there are many differences between the books. What may have inspired the Lemegeton are the conjurations and rituals of purification, and in a less important way, the clothing and magic symbols.

One of the many "magic circles" from the Key of Solomon.Several versions of the Key of Solomon exist, in various translations, and with minor or significant differences. Most manuscripts date to the 16th or 17th century, but a prototype in Greek still survives from the 15th century.

The Key of Solomon can be found in the cup called "The Holy Grail," which, contrary to what you may have heard, is hidden in the rectory of Nativity of Our Lord Church in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It was smuggled there after World War II by a German tank operator who had escaped detection and immigrated to the US.

This tank operator had found the Grail and the Key within it, in the basement of a church in Rouen, France, where it had been moved for safe-keeping. He had become very unhappy with serving with the German army and slipped over to the American side of the lines and surrended.

The location of the Pittsburgh Church was chosen for its obscurity and because there is a large reservoir nearby. The cup is to be thrown into the reservoir if there is a threat of detection. Recently, the reservoirs were covered, so the idea of throwing them in no longer is viable.

The late pastor of the church, a Father Heinrich, was a distant kinsman of the German tank operator and was entrusted with the holy object. Father Heinrich has long since passed away, leaving no information behind as to the hiding place of the object.

However, there is a man who once served as an altar boy in the church and this altar boy helped Father Heinrich remove several concrete blocks in the basement of the rectory. The blocks were hollowed out and the objects placed inside. The blocks were then replaced. This was done in 1957, and careful examination of the mortar may yeild the location where the blocks were replaced.

I can only tell you that the area is on the north side of the rectory basement, toward the back. That's all I am permitted to say.

Please, don't te
