i dont actually think it does say anything about tattoos , but it does say that our body is a temple , so you can define that however you wish i suppose, i am sure in the whole grand scheme of things god has got alot more to worry about then if you have a tattoo or not.i have a few and i still plan on getting into heaven.

The bible says, "Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the Lord." Leviticus 19vs28.
Your body being the temple of the Lord you ought to take Good care of it as well as preserve it for it is wonderfully and fearfully made.
Bible verses or not they are still markings on your skin that are tring to modify God's creation hence they are not of any spiritual growth.

Leviticus 19:28 is the Christian (or so-called Christian?) tattooist and tattoo-bearer's worst nightmare. The Lord plainly, clearly, strongly, and without a doubt condemns the tattoo.

Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.
Leviticus 19:28

I see christian people get tattoos all the time. My friend is a devout christian and got a tatto about him being gods child.
You will still go to heaven. Trust me! Jesus does not discriminate.
Don't know what the Bible says about them.

In Leviticus 19:28, it says: You must not make cuts in your flesh for a deceased soul and you must not put tattoo markings upon yourself. Also in Deuteronomy 14:1,2 it mentions it again. Egyptians and Libyans were known for tattooing their skin, a practice that was pagan, and considered ungodly.

I don't think one wee tattoo is going to have you sent to hell, as long as it is appropriate.

God forgives all sins anyway and so i you feel conflicted after you get it done jsut pray about it.

My mother says if God wanted you to have extra holes or pictures on you, God would have put them there! (My mother is a christian and i'm the one full of holes!!)
