I used to be really shy when I was younger. I 've grown out of it a bit and I don't let my shyness dictate my interestes anymore because I missed out on alot of opportunities, like guys that liked me.
A shy girl will act like she doesn't care about you. You might even think she's stuck-up or a snob because she totally ignores you and barely talks to you. She won't talk to you directly... at first, but if you start haging out with her and your other groups of friends and she starts to see you often and is around you she'll start to get used to you. A shy person needs time to get adjusted and feel comfortable within their surroundings, this includes people. If you like a shy girl and you come off way strong and pushy she'll totally shut down. Baby steps and patience are a key. That can quickly be a problem because a guy (or girl) who likes a shy person can get bored and be over the whole thing after a while. Start talking to the shy person and let him/her open up to you. Share your thoughts, and interestes, be sincere, a shy person is normally very empathetic and intuative, they can pick up vibes and your senses. They are very observant even though I said earlier they will ignore you. The shy person knows you are there, he/she is actually watching you and seeing how you interact with others. In some cases, the girl that likes you, might have her friends go up to the guy for the shy girl. Another instance is that she might not go up to talk to him; she might write a note to that person or give a certain momento/gift or something like that. There was this case that I was in the cafeteria with my friends and this girl threw a rolled up napkin at my friend and he threw it back. They just looked at each other. Another scenario is when that female is tryin to get your attention by talking louder then her friends in a conversation. Its weird though

well she will just stare at you or say nothing until you make the move because i'm shy when it comes to guys so all i do is stare and say nothing until he comes or i will do a little flirting but not much so it depends on the female

she probably acts so shy shemight not even talk, or she might try to talk but get toung tied, or she might have her friends talk for her like answer ay questions you ask her
