He's looking buff @ Doral today, very Bonds like. Wouldn't it be the end of sports heros if it was found that Tiger Woods does steroids?

just because he's listed at 185lbs doesn't make it true. You people are blind if you think he's less than 210lbs and just as big as Bonds at the same age.

I doubt it. The reason he is so good is that he is probably the on true "athlete" on the tour. This guy works out all the time. Runs, lifts, and put in the time necessary to be the best.
I don't think we have to worry about any steroid issue with Tiger. But yes, sports in general, would take a terrible blow if he was found using them.

Due to advances in equipment, the advantage is going toward the long hitter. Certain golphers would benefit from steroids as a result.
Of course, I don't really know, but when Tiger won the masters by 12 shots at the age of 20 he weighed 165 pounds and hit the ball 320 when it was appropriate to do so. That doesn't sound like steroids, to me. Now he is ten years older and is at the age of peak physical strength. He isn't hitting it any further than he did when he hit the scene.
Are some touring pros using steroids? Undoubtably yes.
Is Tiger using steroids? Undoubtably no.

Is he taking steroids? We don't really know.
I strongly doubt it though. At his height of 6'2", Tiger doesn't need steroids to get to his 180 pounds. Hell at 6'2 you can get to 230 pounds with no steroids easy. I know people smaller than Tiger who have the same swinging power.
Remember that hitting long drives is just one part of golf. With the many hours it'd take him to put on muscle for 30 extra yards, he's better off practicing iron shots, chipping, putting, etc.

Tiger is healthy and obviously he works out. If he were using steroids he would be huge like Canseco and Barry Bonds! Those two will give you a definite diagram of what a steroid user looks like!

i'm not a Tiger-apologizer, yet i'll ought to disagree with you in this. He did not exchange into like the Rock "in one day"... seem at photos for the time of the years- you will discover the form. As for the aggression and the mouth- he's often had that. unhappy, and a few thing that i in my view do not accept as true with (for what it rather is nicely worth) inspite of the undeniable fact that it's not some new progression. particular, the PGA and R&A have anti-doping policies... and from what i've got examine/heard, Tiger's handed 2 tests because of the fact it rather is been carried out.

No. Woods has asked the PGA to test tour golfers for steroids. There's no doubt some are using. The moneys too big.

Strength has very little factor in golf. Its more about flexibility and the ability to use muscle groups with one another to get a good angle and momentum of club to hit the ball. Bulky muscles would only interfere with that.
Think about it: If strength=golf skill, don't you think we'd see a lot more bodybuilders playing golf?
