The ex swiped the male last week and Pasha is bummed. She won't eat and walks around calling out for her best friend. Its killing me too but i work from my home and she is constantly needing me to play play play. How long will she be this way and would she be better off if I give her to the ex so Pasha can be with Brando?

she misses the other cat. you have to understand... you know why brando is gone but she doesn't. she's looking for him and she can't find him which is why she's upset. you know he was taken but she probably thinks that he's lost. chances are, brando may be looking for her as well. if you can't get the other cat back, maybe try to find her a new kittie friend.

Our cat acted the same way when her buddy died. After a few weeks we got a new kitten. At first we had to keep the kitten in a cage when we weren't around--our older cat spit at the kitten and tried to swat at it. However, they eventually became friends.

You might also check with your ex. The male cat might be driving her crazy--especially since cats tend to be more attached to places than to people. She might be more than glad to let you have Brando back.

BTW--cute cat names.
