listen i kno you dont want a lecture or to be told what to do..,,.but i just got the bottom of my belly button pierced by someone with a licence and when i went into the tattoo place the other day they told me that the guy pierced me too shallow and there is a big possibility that my piercing will migrate out and ill have to have it repierced in 6 months after it heals..... so if someone with a license f*ed up my piercing then imagine what someone without a license will do..... im just saying think about it ok..... but i dunno what size needle you use but im pretty sure the jewerly is 14 gauge u put in

If she's 'in training' then you shouldn't have to buy anything. She should have all the things she needs. And if you're worried about her not doing it right, you shouldn't get pierced by her. Aprentices are watched by thier mentors when they do piercings, to make sure everything is done properly.
Go and find yourself a real professional.

mmmm i would stick with a professional..lol
i pierced my own cartilage once, and it turned out okay after like a year, it got infected 3 times...and alot of lectures from my dad...but i didn't gauge it, so now its hard to find any earings for it.
:(
lol

p.s.-i still would have done it myself though cause in texas you have to be an adult to get it done even professionally, but i'm not sure about the belly button things, and my sister had hers done, and it was all sicko when she got pregnant.

What are you trying to do? Doing you your own piercing is just a bad idea for like a million reasons. Go to a professional.

Don't do it on your own. It may cause serious infections and other problems. Its not expensive to get it done at a parlour.
It usually costs max $50 the piecer will explain how to take care of it so it will heal nicely.

See a professional piercer! You are definitely going to harm yourself and cause infection if you try to do it yourself!
