I'll say this. Just this morning on T.V. They had a segment on pets and problems. One lady has a dog; that when she (the lady) leaves the house for work or shopping; she has to lock the refridgerator door, because the dog has figured out how to open it. She said her dog will eat everything she can get a hold of. Her vet said the dog has a eating disorder. With that said; I guess your pup could also have one. I might also mention that the dog is nearing 250 lb's. Should'nt be any where near that.If it were I; I guess I'd take pup to the vet. Good Luck. This would be interesting to find out

No.
To throw up all the time is to be sick.
To be bulimic is to have a specific mental (disorder?) which - like anorexia, relates to your self image, and how you feel you look, you should look and so on. It also involves depression.
Dogs don't worry about self image or weight, so no, a dog can not be bulimic in psychological sense.

You need to find a vet that will help with what appears to be a sensitive stomach condition or gag reflex problems. Changing types of food you have probably tried. Dogs do not need to have canned food, and it shortens their life span. Dry kibbles are quite enough to sustain all their dietary needs. You may need to get a puppy food that is not as heavy. Cooking your own rice helps the digestive track as well. Try some rice flavored with a little beef bullion. There are many recipes that you can make yourself that can be found on the web which informs you how to add vegetables and what kinds. Good luck, that's a tough situation to live with, but hopefully you can try some of these ideas.

NO, bulemia is a mental disorder that causes a person to vomit because of a distorted body image. Dogs do not care what they look like, nor would they vomit simply to lose weight. There are many medical reasons for a dog to vomit. If your vet has not offered you all the diagnostics necessary to determine what it is, consider finding another vet. Consider seeing an internal medicine vet who could do more specialized procedures like endoscopy, biopsies and allergy tests.

No, dog's do it naturally.. They have eaten something that has upset their stomach, or they aren't feeling well. They don't throw up because they have a mental illness, it's a nature thing. Dog's that suffer psychological problems or have neurotic behaviours do so because of the way people raise/treat them. Not allowing them to be dogs.. Litter training them etc. Dog's don't ALWAYS eat grass after they eat.

my dog is. no lie she is. she was a rescue from a puppy mill. she was beaten to bread. she has always eaten. (but only if we watch to make sure she eats) and then starts heaving it up. but only part of it. i took her to the vets and they found nothing wrong. a behaviorist told me she is doing this to keep herself from being bred. but some animals are over sensitive and just want to be that way. but yes bulimia is in every species. i just make sure to feed and water her enough to make sure she gets the nutrients and vitamins she needs. good luck
Take her in to a behavior analyst and see if there could be a problem there. If your vet has done all the tests then there is probably something mental.
dogs are not just our entertainment but of themselves too. They have feelings and understanding that we do not comprehend. Just think of the cats and or dogs that stop eating because you leave them for a short time. sometimes things just arent explainable by the vet/pet ideal.

Bulimia is a psychological disorder that dogs are incapable of developing. If your pet is vomiting on a regular basis go to the Vet.
