Of course it's wrong. We all wind up with our little prejudices along the way, either because the older generation passed it on, or experiences here and there, but ideally if we have them, we should grow out of them, and relate to people based on who they are, not what they look like, whether they're wealthy or not, or what church they go to.

I think racism is the wrong word. Cause the same race of people can be in differing religions and not agree or get along at all. Hence the killing spree going on in Iraq. They are all Muslims, all of middle eastern extraction and boy are they killing each other off. Is it wrong? Of course. Will it stop, not any time soon. It is very hard to get to know a person who believe in radical ways opposed to what you believe. People judge others by their religion because it is the basis of life's decisions. If you are an atheist then your beliefs are the basis of your life. These beliefs often clash with others. That is life.

Yes I do think it is wrong. People need to be like Martin Luther King Jr. and remember how he wanted people NOT to be judged on the color of their skin or religion. Seems people have forgotten the struggles of the Civil Rights movement and Marting Luther King's speech.

it is only racism if you are judging people by their outward appearance or ethnicity.
religion is a choice and it defines your actions and beliefs.
that is the kind of thing that you should judge people on.
