I stick with what I know. I have not studied about Islam or Buddhism so I keep my mouth shut about it.

First of all, I am a Buddhist and an atheist. Buddhism isnt a religion in the western sense, in that we don't have a god, at least in the form I practice. Second, Christianity is the most prevelent religion in the western world. I am not crazy about Islam, but I dont find muslims trying to outlaw teaching good science in the schools or trying to pass laws that push to make America a theocracy. If we had a situation here where they were, believe me I would be all over it.

As a Christian, I can only say I don't know. Many people have been hurt by overzealous Christians. But in all honesty, Christianity offers hope, a sense of peace. Currently in my life things aren't going the way I want them to but I have a deep sense of peace and hope that one day things will be better than then they are today. Knowing what Christ went through for me and other people, I know I will be alright. And from looking at all the other answers, it is obvious that people have been hurt. Growing up Christianity was something I resisted when I lost my faith in God, now I know I walked away from Him and realize God has a plan for all of us.
I am sorry for those Christians who are overzealous and force people into Christianity. But there are Christians who respect everyone belief and I am one of them. The journey of faith is hard and everyone must find these out for themselves. Like it says, we seek our salvation with fear and trembling. We are responsible for our faith and when judgment day comes, where we will you be?

For me it is for the following reasons:
I live in the U.S. and though Islam is a (minor) threat to America Christianity is poised to destroy the country from the inside out. This on top of the fact that since i am an American i am more familiar with Christianity than any other religion (including my former religion believe it or not).
I do not stick to attacking only Christianity, however often i do find myself coming back to it as a thorn in the side.

Because you are not an Atheist, you are an anti-christian.
If you were an atheist you would not care one way or another and you wouldn't get drawn into discussions about God.
Let me put it this way. If a child comes up to you and starts talking about how they saw a dragon do you argue and attempt to humiliate them, ignore them or try to humor them?
If you are a jerk or an "anti-dragon" person you argue and attempt to humiliate them, trying to make them miserable.
If you really believe dragons are fictional you just humor or ignore the strange behavior.
Therefore most of the so called atheists on these boards are either real jerks who enjoy trying to hurt people or they are anti-christians who believe God exists and are working to hurt God.
In my opinion a real atheist would not be on a religion board at all.

Hello.......
You shouldn't say that Atheists don't focus on Islam whatever Atheists mean! You are really rude! Christian, christian and Christan! I don't care! Jesus is not GOD! ALLAH IS! When I say..I am a Muslim, I'm not shouting: "Down with Christians and Jews" I am whispering: "I seek peace" and Islam is the path that I choose. When I say.. I am a Muslim, I mean I am a Muslim.

Because Christians are the ones that say Atheists are of the devil. I'm not an Atheist but that's pretty obvious.

1. Buddhism is basically an atheistic belief system.
2. Because other religions are not nearly as offensive as Christianity.

Budhism - well, honestly i've tried to attack budhists, as a joke, and it never got far,
Islam questions get deleted - fast,
Christianity seems to be the dominant religion, and the ethnocentric one,
ask about polytheism or wicca and i find people telling me i need jesus
