They consider us fools, but choose to spend all their free time with us. Why do they need to interact with us so much?

I wish I knew. I've been dealing with them for several years on other forums and it beats me other then that they want to prove us wrong. They are more studied in the bible then most Christians because they want to prove us wrong. It takes a very highly intelligent, gifted, studied person of the Bible to be able to have a discusssion with them I know several that could probably win a discussion and one person in particular that I have been listening to but don't know if it's legal to say his name. He has a web site and a person can join for free. He is very good but unless it's legal to say his name or give his website then I can't say too much more.

We choose our friends for various reasons, not because of their religious beliefs. They MIGHT consider us fools for believing what we do..and we MIGHT consider them as fools for not believing as we do.
The worst topics to talk about are politics and religion. We all think our representative is the best, and we think our religion is the best. It's human nature...but if you think an athiest spends all their free time with us, just because we're Christians, then it is YOU who is the fool!!

This is a very good question. I think the reason most athiest focus their anger or are intriqued with Christians because that is the religion most of them no about and in the Jewish faith, there is a sort of jewish faith that doesnt believe in god. Also, many athiest are from the christian background and were pushed to be involved in the church when they were younger. Hope this helps=)

I'm not an atheist, but I really don't believe they ARE that intrigued by Christians and they're beliefs. As for wanting to spend free time with you, maybe they just like YOU. They don't have to share your religious views to like you do they?

Because they are empty and they feel the only way to validate themselves is to argue with Christians. Satan used them to try to bring doubt to Christians, and he will always use whatever he can to get in the way of a Christians path. Don't let him. Stay firm to your faith, and feel sorry for the atheists. They will know one day that they are wrong and will regret their life. Pity their ignorance and feel the sadness that the Savior does that they are going to hell. Then go on with your Christian path and spread the Word so that there will be less people going to hell.

The main reason I am "intrigued" , or upset with most devout christians is that almost all of them that I know constantly try to "recruit" me and people I know in other religions to christianity. I don't have a problem with a person believing whatever they want, but christians can't seem to handle the fact that other people don't believe as they do and seem to make it their purpose in life to convert everybody to their religion.

We aren't. We want you to knock off your crap. And I don't spend my time with Christians if I can help it. Though my family is all Catholics so that gets hard.

I don't need to interact with you, I want you to bugger off. Go away. Leave me and everyone else alone. You have your religion, so don't go pestering me in my home, don't follow me down the street preaching, don't try to get prayer in schools and intelligent design in the science classroom, leave the homosexual community alone, if you don't like abortion, then don't do it but don't try to make that decision for other people, and don't try to stop scientific research just because you don't like the idea of using stem cells when there's already 6.5 billion people on this planet and increasing.

You Christians live in this fantasy ideal world that doesn't exist anywhere but in your heads. Its absolutely maddening.

Trust me Christians drew first blood by trying to limit the rights of people that don't think like them. The thinking class will not take their eyes of any religion every again until the cancer of religion no longer exist.

Some of the atheists find you amusing
Some consider you a threat.
Some atheists actually want to save you from your folly.

Are you ready to renounce your religion and accept atheism yet.

Were trying to enlighten you. Atheists don't hate Christians. Well, most atheists don't. We are curious as to what happened in your life that enables you to believe in something that all evidence says is false. I guess it's the same for Christians also. More curiosity than anything else.
