Fluorescent lighting problems?

Is fluorescent lighting bad for your eyes ? thanks

Mercury vapour fluorescent tubes are better than ordinary tubes as they have a more "daylight" spectrum than the "pink" ones. They are usually doubled up in office lighting to double the flicker frequency to 100Hz. Also diffusers improve things, but yes it can still give you a brain ache. I've resorted to wearing a baseball cap on occasion.

yes,its known to cause headaches and blurred vision

only if you use a computer all day ........make shure its got a diffuser shade on it an you should be OK!!!
