Yes, Papillons shed alot! They have no under coat so will shed year round but you don't get a seasonal "blowing" of the coat, and in the case of a female, the amount of hair found on furniture is doubled when they go through their heat cycle.

The fragility of toy breeds (see below)
Excessive daintiness and timidity, suspiciousness, or highstrung temperaments in some lines, or when not socialized enough
Chasing instincts (birds, mice, flying insects) from their spaniel heritage
Regular brushing and combing
Shedding
Barking
Housebreaking difficulties, especially in the cold and rain
A Papillon may not be right for you.

Yes, "Pappys" do shed. They have lots of excess hair on their ears and on their tail. If you're thinking of buying one, here are some things you should condider:
PRICEY!!!
Lots of work
Breeding takes a while, so you might have to wait for a while before you get your dog

ovcourse all dogs shed... except poodles and a few more different breeds.....
