Mild Drink=Beer (archaic)
and
Hard Drink=Distilled alcohol

a soft drink is any carbonated beverage like coke or pepsi..
a hard drink is any drink containing alcohol more commonly referred to as a stiff drink.. it can be a mixed drink like rum and coke but it contains alcohol.
