I get 6 & a 1/2 to 7 hours per night.
No would I'm always Tired. LOL
But I would say Kids: 9 to 10
Teens: 8 to 9
Senior Citisens: 5 to 6 hours.
Adults: To be totally feeling Refreshed the next morning, 8 hours of sleep is good enough.

The ideal person should sleep at least eight or nine hours, unless they are over 70, then they should sleep no more than 8 hours! Elderly people's immune systens and circulatory systems can be slowed down by sleeping and laying down for too long

I don't know the recommendations for the ideal person, but for a normal person, 7 hours is ideal, moms usually get way less. 20 minute nap does wonders.
