I have a special diet that I use when I get a little over weight and that is to count the calories I consume durring the day. I try to stay within a 1000 to 1500 hundred a day and it seems to work out for me. My diet consist mostly of refried beans and can chicken mixed with tomatoes and corn. It really works as I have lost probably 20 lbs in two months not bad. I have not noiticed any problems with excessive gas also.. Jon

Everyone is different. I am 30 lbs. overweight and consume approximately 1250 calories a day.

There's an old African proverb that goes:

"What you eat don't make me fat"

or something like that.

I followed the Scarsdale Medical Diet for 3 months and lost 30 lbs. On that diet, you only eat 8-900 calories a day for two weeks, and the next two weeks you are allowed about 200 more. You repeat this until you are at your desired weight. I plan on using it to drop my pregnancy weight after I have the baby in Sept to lose 60 more lbs.
