my friend jess had sex with this kid shes used to like a lot back in hs who shes friends with. He has a girlfriend and still thinks about his ex a lot too. Jess went over to talk to him about that and they ended up doing stuff. I don't understand why she did. I know when people cheat is real bad but why do people let them?

people are trying to look out for their friends... they don't worry about the consequences, just being cool. it's wrong but I've done it, and i feel bad, but hey, we all make mistakes.

I think the term use to like alot does not apply here. She either still likes him alot or she likes knowing that she has a certain control over him as *I can have him whenever I want*. Either way I would be on gaurd with her even when it comes to your own b/f or other guys in your life just because she is not conscience of who she hurts or does not care if she hurts someone. She has no understanding of the term someone is taken. As for the guy he is no better then she is by cheating on his girlfriend. Becareful with this........as they say keep your friends close and your enemies closer!

Their desires overcome their morality at that moment. Thats how cheating happens, they dont usually think about the consequences at the moment. Im sorry but your friend jess is a wh*re and that other kid is stupid for letting it happen. I feel sorry for that kid's gf and she should break up with that kid.

Most people try to hide behind excuses (e.g. vulnerable, past flames, etc.) but the truth is that WE are ALL self-serving humans. We want INSTANT gratification no matter who gets hurt or no matter what the circumstances are. Even in cases of low self-image OR "friends" your friend probably feels empowered by doing the deed with someone else's partner.

Is real simple, either they cheat because the feelings for the other person are not strong. And because is just a thrill, the thought of doing things behind someone's back makes it interasting.
