The menu toolbar in Microsoft Word is gone. How do I get it back?

There is no menu bar, no toolbar, alt is not working, there is no light blue bar on the top of the page. only the paragraph bar and the dark blue bar...Please help!!!!

Right click the light blue bar at the top of the screen, not the dark blue, select the tool bars you want to see. There are 20 of them and you can create your own.
OK, I didn't read carefully. I think simply hitting the escape key will bring it back. It sounds as though you are viewing in the full screen mode.

Hit the "alt" key. It should be near the space bar.

when you open the ms word just go the view and in that you select the view and in that select the tool bar.
