They think Atheists are "unsaved" and don't know god, it doesn't enter their minds some of us were Christians and once held the same ideas they did.

Why does it irritate an Atheists that as Christians we are concerned for them?
Is it that hard to understand unconditional love that comes by the Grace and Mercy of God through the Holy Spirit, which enables us as christians to sympathize with non-believers and try to present them the opportunity through the teachings of the Holy Bible, to repent of their sins and accept the Lord Jesus Christ as our Saviour?

I have learned to be content in all things. For I know in everything I have was giving me as a blessing by the Grace of God. I am living free, maybe not by your standards or that of many in the world who find it acceptable to be selfcentered or self reliant, as society dictates today think of your own needs first. Know this society does not set the standards for God's Law. Those of you who do not believe eventually will become if you have not already, slaves to your own rebellious choices losing your freedom to "not sin."

So let me ask you does life without God look like freedom to you? Look more closely at this. There is no worse slavery than slavery to sin.

I am always left wondering why if Atheists do not believe that God exsists, why put in so much effort to question why Christians are concerned about their non-belief?
My concerns are not that you haven't be smitten yet (as you put it) or incurred the wrath of God YET! Only that I know you will and that will be a terrible day for those of you who do not repent before the day of judgement.
The time is coming that every knee shall bow down before the Lord and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord of all. I, personally, don't dwell in curiousity for that killed that cat, only in hope that some of you open your hearts and minds and accept the truth.

As a former atheist, I can tell you that we aren't at all irritated that you live in the free world.

No one is born a Christian. You must be "born again."

Prior to my conversion, I thought as you did. I thought that I was the "free-thinker" and that "religious nuts" were slaves to some dogma.

It was only when Christ saved me from my sins, that I realized everyone is a slave to something. Atheists (and others) are slaves to a variety of passions. Some, their intellect, others, sex, drugs, or music. Whatever passion it is, they live for it, and are slaves to it.

I've been there, done that, and bought the T-shirt. I am more free now as a Christian, than I ever was as an atheist.

How do you know that your life is so much better than mine. My Lord gave himself for me personally . He is not dictatorial but gave us all a free will to choose how we would live. Every other religion expects sacrifice from its followers, not mine . My God sacrificed himself. He has a plan specifically tailored to my needs and don't worry he has a plan for you too, whether you want to believe it or not. He came that we may have life more abundantly, don't deceive yourself living in the present doesn't pay off with big rewards, just usually big trouble. Been there , done that , got the t-shirt!

The only thing I'M curious about atheists is why do they spend all their free time ragging on anything and everything that Christians say, do, or think. There are OTHER religions they could be picking on, but for some reason they insist on Christianity.

I am not curious. I am a Christian man who is saddened by the lack of faith and belief of all atheists. But soon you will know the truth but it may be to late for you by then. This is the truly sad part of it since the truth is written in your heart of hearts. But you choose to ignore it and choose to serve the mind of the world instead. Sad, sad, sad............... but you have free will as we all do and have made your choice. It's just that you did not choose wisely, there is no mystery here to be curious about!

As soon as I mention I'm an atheist, they try to convert me. Until I inform them it was Christians that made me an atheist. It's probably because the smart ones are on the edge of not believing and are getting a first hand look at what it's like to be free and not fear death anymore.

Actually I think its is only some Christians that do so. You see, unless you meet every single one of any group, it's kinda hard to say all. It's usually the few that get the most attention.

I joined Y/A two weeks ago. I have seen hundreds of questions from atheists toward Christians, and hundreds from Christians toward atheists. It seems to me, judging on that basis alone, that both are very curious of each other.
Why? I am not entirely sure, maybe they each want to know how someone can be so opposite from themselves.

Isn't that question expressing curiosity about Christians? I think you're just trying to annoy Christians with that question. I'm agnostic so, so I'm curios about both you.
