I waited until I was a senior in high school. I was planning on waiting until marriage, but one of my twin sisters came home from college to stay with me at my parents home for that summer. She told me how she and my other twin sister had lost their virginity to some guys they were dating in college( they married the guys later on). This gave me no hope and I fell for it with the guy I was dating (you know the one I was going to marry)...Yeah right!
It led to a degrading and terrible experience for the next 3 years. I had no respect for myself, I left college because of some stupid guy. Gave up my singing career.
It didn't take long before I got pregnant and I was with a guy who was so wrong. He's long gone, I never hear from him (thankful for that though).
The only thing that I regret is letting my mom and Dad down. They are such wonderful people who protected me from everything and didn't deserve to be put through the hardship I gave them.
I'm just glad that God forgives. It's been years, but it's still hard to forgive myself for doing that. My daughter is almost 6 now and she was the reason I changed my life. Thank God for her.
Those experiences have made me who I am today. I don't think I could appreciate everything I have now if I hadn't been through them. Sad but true!

I waited till I was 22 to have sex, do I regret it, a little, my boyfriend and I both wish we had waited. The sad thing is, I'm a Christian and I told myself and my family that I would wait. However, I am still proud that I have made it that far, most of the women in my family had sex before the age of 18 and had kids.
It's never to late. You may not get your virginity back but you can have that peace in your heart back knowing that you waited. If you meet someone tell them what your wishes are, and if that wish is to wait until marrige they should respect it and want to do what makes you happy. There is HOPE, you will have the last laugh.

I was 22 when I first had sex. Because I felt like somewhat of a late bloomer, I had all this mental buildup about sex and was nervous about it - would it hurt? what would it be like? could I really get naked in front of another person? The guy i was with for my first time ended up to be quite small and the sex was uneventful to say the least.
In a way I'm glad it happened that way because it got me over my anxiety about sex, and I realized how much people (guys mostly) talk themselves up about it .
It would've been nice to have had my first time be with my husband, but we started having sex before we were engaged, so I didn't necessarily know he was "the one" at the time.
It's a real personal choice, and I think even if your first time didn't end up being with Mr. Right, you have probably still learned from that - I mean, it was 13 years ago. And you would probably feel a little insecure to be 31 and still a virgin, wouldn't you?

I was sixteen and I swore I was "in love." I don't necessarily regret it, but I feel like, as I've grown older, I've come to appreciate more what power my sexuality has. I'm not so quick now to "give it up" because it feels like a logical next step.
To me, I guess, what I'm saying is, as I've grown up (I'm 28 now), I've learned that there are plenty of people who can have sex and not attach it to anything. I'm not one of those people.
I'm glad I learned that about myself, which is why, despite sometimes thinking I wish I would have waited, I'm glad I didn't. I learned a lot more.
I am also still single, but I don't, in any way, equate that with the fact that I'm NOT still a virgin...those are sort of two separate equations.

I was 16Th when I had sex the first time. I wish I could turn back the hands of time, but its not going to happen. Life is hard enough without regrets, so I try not to think about things like that.

I lost my virginity when i was 16 i dont regret doing it but i do regret of the person i did it with. I think you shouldn't regret doing anything cause you learn from experience. And then again its just sex. But remember always use protection
