If I'm not pregnant, what else could be wrong with me.
I have a doctors appt. this Thursday to get some blood work done.
I am just curious if anyone has missed two periods in a row and still gotten a negative on a pregnancy test???
What was wrong with them????

It could just be stress. If you have a lot of transitions or worries lately it can affect you that way. I have missed one, maybe two in a row, and it was nothing. The doctor will probably test you for all sorts of things, so try not to worry. That will only make it worse, whatever it is.

I'm in track at my school and i miss many many periods. If your very active (i mean physically), I don't know what exactly it is but you just miss your period. Its like your ovaries get confused and just stop making eggs. If you slow down the curse will return. and it also could be an altitude thing if you moved from like Texas to Colorado it takes a while for your body to get used to it. Also could be stress like the others said but you wouldn't be able to move your arms your muscles would be so tense. I doubt it is eating disorders because you wouldn't really have enough energy to type the dang question. It could be something like mono or something else. But don't freak the doctor will tell you hes a pro I'm a thirteen year old. oh and one more thing pregnancy test arent always right. and you shouldnt be sexually active anyway. (unless of course your married)

May depend on how old you are? Peri-menopause if you are over 38 or so? If not seek your gyn-ob...he has told me that your period is the one thing that can change from just about any situation for any reason...could be from anything which is why you need his advice and his only! Don't play w/ your gyn health...esp if you are already a mom...your family needs you!

Don't fret. A doctor will help. There are many reasons for missed periods. Eating disorders, athletics, TOO MUCH exercise, etc. See what he says. My best to you.
