do you exercise? i used to be like this until i started an exercise program. now, i don't eat as much as i used to but still have a healthy appetite. also, i have more energy now. you should see a doctor just to be sure. i was diagnosed with anemia when this happened to me. doctor gave me protein and iron supplements and told me to exercise. i've been great ever since.

Start from a 'building health' perspective instead of a 'seeking sickness' approach.
Look up a nutrient-dense, energy intensive diet and take four to six small meals a day so that you don't get tired just digesting your food.
Then, add a vitamin and mineral supplement and get a good blood test. This will give you a report you can take to a nutritionist to develop a good eating plan that will give you at least enough energy to start a small exercise program.
After that, join a gym and do some low-impact exercises or join a Tai Chi class. You could even walk (at whatever rate of speed you can stand) for a half hour each day to get yourself started.
No matter what the problem is, taking this path until you figure it out will put your body in better condition to deal with it.

I agree with everyone who says that you should see a doctor, but also if diabetes test is negative, and iron levels are normal, consider a fast. There are several reasons for this. A water only fast for a few days gives your kidneys a chance to work some of the toxins out of your system. Also, your stomach works like a balloon- if you eat large meals to fill it up, it stretches, causing it to require more food to fill it up. This is why Thanksgiving causes so many problems for people who thought they would be okay if they ignored their diet for "just one day." The next day, their "stretched balloon" required the same amount of food to fill it up-oops. A fast helps to shrink the balloon back down to tolerable levels. It does have to be done carefully, and with the guidance of a doctor. You need to drink plenty of water, and don't do it for more than a few days. Don't drive during a fast. When you go back on food, be careful about what you are putting in your body. Avoid toxins, eat plenty of healthy vegetables, and little red meat. Don't smoke. If you've been gaining weight, that would explain the pain in your joints. Make sure you are tested for other problems first, and only do the fast after you have recieved a clean bill of health and are sure that no underlying problems exist. Exercise regularly to help your body get rid of the everyday toxins that build up in it. Good luck.

I recommend you see a doctor.
You could have several things. Chronic fatigue syndrome, tetanus, fybromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, food poisoning... the list goes on.
Personally, with the increase in appearance of diseases like these, I have to wonder how much of it is caused by toxins in our food, the air, our water, etc.

sometimes the body craves food cause it is dehydrated - it really wants the water in the foods...make sure you are drinking a lot of water...
water will also flush out any toxins that may be affecting your joints and energy levels...

i tried to think of something funny to answer as i always do but, in all seriousness you should consider getting checked for diabetes. there are signs there. if it is what you have take it very serious. as it can be a dangerous thing to have.

maybe you arent getting enough vitamins and nutrients that your body needs. try eating things that are natural. dont eat things with ingredients that you cant pronounce. eat fiber. the Fiber One cereal is good. my mom likes to mix it with sugar free pudding.
