doubtful that a Psychologist would ever be stationed aboard a carrier, regardless of Gender. They would be stationed at the military hospitals, or possibly seconded to either USNS COMFORT or MERCY, the two hospital ships.

Yes they would. The navy has been allowing women to serve on all their ships for years now. The only one you cant serve on is a submarine. The closed quarters make it hard to retrofit all the subs to suit female needs. Carriers carry about 5000 people and about 20% are females. Having a PhD gives you an automatic commision when enlisting so you will be an officer.

If the the medical staff of an aircraft carrier included a psychologist, then there would be no bar to a female psychologist. The medical staff on an aircraft carrier typically includes male and/or female physicians, surgeons, physician's assistants, nurses and medics.

I don't know but I heard on Bill Maher last night that any female in Iraq is so scared not of being killed but of being raped by her own troops. They have been there so long that they will rape you in gang rapes , their minds have completely took all it can stand. They haven't been home anybody knows a man has to have sex and they will get it anyway after so long of a time whatever way they can, especially with all their minds thinking any day I'm going to die.
