Put your foot in the way every time you open your door so he won't get out..
Even neutered cats try to sneak out too..

I think from your statement he is not fixed. GET HIM FIXED. It costs under 50 dollars at most vets....mine was 35 dollars plus the vet visit and shots.... You will not be happy (and neither will your house) if he isnt fixed. PLEASE DO THIS
Also, open a window... to let them get some fresh air... or buy a cat gym for his entertainment.

Fix him. That's a simple solution to your problem. Helps control the pet population if he does escape, and controls his urges. Good Luck.

A great way to know is ask your cat's vet, it may have some problems. no one online can answer that question because they dont know what problems your cat has had in the past.

There are many reasons your cat might want to go outside. To mate, to explore, or to hunt. "Fixing" your cat might not answer the problem. It will help if he/she does go out, though.

my bfs cat is fixed and the annoying little....still wont stop meowing at the door. I seriously want to shoot the damn thing.
I hate cats. sorry but it scared my hamster to death- seriously it freaking killed it. it crapped on my new expensive sandles, tore up my fave shirt, it stinks, it's fat and I just straight up hate it.
So all you can do is let it outside- it'll get hungry and want back in.

the reason your cat is "sneaking out" is because he is not neutered. to curb the desire to go outside, among other wonderful reasons, you need to get him fixed. this is healthy for your pet, and also will keep him safe (i.e. he wont go outside). please contact your vet and schedule an appointment.
