He asked for my number and I gave it to him but we haven't talked yet only texted each other. Well he works tonight and I was thinking of passing by the store because I have to pick up my check but I thought I could see him also. Do you think I should do that or wait for him to call me?

Women have lost valuable time and opportunity by sticking to old time crap like let the boy make the first move.
It's 2007. The playing field is even.
Go up to Kohl's..pick up your check, look for him--say hi, then ask him to meet you for a drink or pizza, hamburger...yogurt..whatever...after he gets off work that same night or soon. Don't make it a date...nithing hard core...no pressure, not a date, just a casual get together afterwork. Don't go together..just meet at the designated place.
Try that. But don't wait for him to make the first move. Assert yourself..and be responsible for your own happiess.

go by there pick your check up look for him first.but if or when he sees you he gonna say somethin.he might try to make up an excuse for why he didn't call u at some point of time.then theres your time to ask him why he's there ask him would he like to go out on a date or either go out for dinner.i promise you he would or will say yes.

Well, if you have to get your check.. just go.. and then you see him.. if he ask you what are you doing here? You tell him that you came over to get your check.. So he's not going to think that you're there because of him!
