bathroom. Ive tried everything. Ive tried gasx. Ive tried beano. My stomach feels so bloated sometimes, the pain even runs up to my chest. I could not even get up out of the chair the other day i was so blotted with gas. Im not sure weather i should go up to the hospital or not. I need a answer soon. Thank you

I'm a nurse. At the hospital we use Senokot-S, they also have regular Senokot but the S is the best. You can also buy an over the counter "Fleet Enema" It sounds like you need to do the enema first, the take the pills. The enema is small and really does not cause too much discomfort, unlike the one we would give you at the ER. You need the enema because it sounds like you are impacted. So you need to get what is already there out, so that the medicine can work to get the rest out. Cause if you just take the medicine, your only going to get more gas and more backed up. do you walk a lot it seems to help me but your answer is wiser go to the hospital or call your doctor i do a lot of walking and i drink a small glass about 4oz of warm prune juice but do what you said first doctor or hospital

Sounds like you have IBS constipation..I have that problem sometimes myself. and I am on a prescription called Zelnorm by my DR. it helps! you should see your Doctor right away!
