Take your dress as is to the cleaners. Rinsing it could damage the material it is made out of depending on what kind of dress it is. Just be sure to take it to a good dry cleaner and have it packaged when its cleaned. It's a bit expensive but will help to keep your dress from yellowing. Hope that helps :-)

I would take it as is, but make sure that you are getting your moneys worth, Because alot of those dry cleaning places, are not very professionals,

No. Just get the dust off some other way. like use a blow dryer to get as much dust off as you can. then take it to the cleaners.
