Sorry first time asking a question and I poorly wrote my first ones heres the revised ones.

1. How can you believe in the bible when some things cannot be true...For exampel: God making the sun stop moving so the soldiers could fight a longer battle, impossible because the earth revolves around the sun not vice-versa. The concept of Noah taking only two of every animal onto the Ark, impossible because with only two animals after one generation there would be nothing but incest resulting in the degredation of the species due to harmful reccesive traits.
2. Why do you believe in miracles and prayer when you cannot name a miracle that could not have been created by concidence and or man made solutions. For example if prayer works why dont amputes legs grow back? If god is so powerfull then cant he do that, the only prayers that are "Answered" are things that can be fixed with medicine, treatment, or luck.

I see that you are new to Y!A.

Your questions have been asked hundreds of times before. (and I do mean hundreds.)

I could go into detail on all of them but I will not. You claim Incest results in harmful recessive traits. When breeding livestock. Incest is often used to enhance specific traits. (ie the Dalmatian's spots)

Your real question is:

Is there a metaphysical component to the universe? Before you answer, look at your "a priori" assumptions. I suspect that you believe that there is no such component.

In answer to your second point, here is a quote from C.S. Lewis.

‘If the solar system was brought about by an accidental collision, then the appearance of organic life on this planet was also an accident, and the whole evolution of Man was an accident too. If so, then all our present thoughts are mere accidents—the accidental by-product of the movement of atoms. And this holds for the thoughts of the materialists and astronomers as well as for anyone else’s. But if their thoughts—i.e. of materialism and astronomy—are merely accidental by-products, why should we believe them to be true? I see no reason for believing that one accident should be able to give me a correct account of all the other accidents. It’s like expecting that the accidental shape taken by the splash when you upset a milkjug should give you a correct account of how the jug was made and why it was upset.’

C.S. Lewis (1898–1963), The Business of Heaven

P.S. If amputees legs did grow back, would you then just use another physical aspect to try to support your point. If all ailments and and diseases were curable, would you then ask "Why is there death?" if you do so, you are back to a metiphysical question.
