It depends. What kind of guy is the red head? Maybe you should ask some girls to the movies. And are you looking for a Friend or a girlfriend. Theres a difference.

1st thing first, you have to set your eyes on he girl YOU, want.
Then, without approaching her, change your routine...
By this i mean, stop running around with your friends during school, playing ball during lessons and especially in break stop making funny comments about girls, they'll just despise you for that.
Do... be more of a gentleman, offer to help them, hold doors open for them.
Once you have set your eyes on the one, try not to get too close to her before moving in for the kill, otherwise she'll end up giving you the, "Let's just STAY friends" line, and you don't want to hear that from a potential girlfriend.
Know her friends, as you try to impress her, find out from her friends what she thinks abiout you.
Remeber, you should also be in control, or at least look it... Example,
Do
Claudia: so where are we going?
King: Mike's pizzaria, i think you'll like it there.
Don't
Anglica: so, Sean, what do want to do?
Sean: What ever you want to do Angy... It doesn't really matter
Girls like guys who are initiative.
And don't ask her a "yes" or "no" question like; I like you, do you like me too?
That will throw your game away. When you get that far, just
get close to her
put your arm around her waist
kiss her
take the initiative
watchout for the signs,
Eventually she will assume the both of you are dating and you just play along,

I know lots of girls who like redheads, but it doesn't always matter what color your hair is. Just be clean and nice. At your age a lot of boys are cruel. Dont be like that. Just be kind to EVERYONE. Dont make fun of other people in front of a girl you like. I never went out with a boys who made fun of other girls for being fat or ugly. Its a big turn of. Be yourself.

I did and 16 years and two kids later we r as happy as can be.Take your time.Don't take first realationship u get, just cuz u got someone to like u.
