help on finishing the end of my story.........?

i have to write a story about a first date. the couple are finishing their meal and in comes the waiter. the waiter brings the bill and the man has no money to pay. so he goes to an atm machine but the machine is broken. what could be the ending of the story i had tought of his date leave and he has to stay and wash the dishes but thats so not original so pleaze help me on how to end my story thanks

girlfriend! did that jerk pull that one on you too? well, I paid the bill, but he just wished he had to wash dishes. I own a ranch and let's just say, city boys can't hang with the big girls. Now he knows the real meaning of the word, Slinging the Bull. but you know what? he worked out so well that my new husband and I are leaving him in charge while we honeymoon.

This is the 2000s...that s when the girl says its ok. I'll pay. And later they have a second date that's spectacular. Or if he is rotten, he doesn't go out with the girl agian but goes out with someone else and bad karma whould have it that THAT date was a disaster.
